I lift in my garage. I lift barefoot until it gets too cold, then I lift in Vibrams FiveFingers.

Barefoot is way more stable than any shoes can be.

    I Squat with Romaleos 2.

Barefoot is fine with low weight high volume or 5x5 untrained - Intermediate

Go barefoot with 5x5 reps with advance or elite and you are asking for significant damage to your feet over time.

If you are a hip dominate Squatter, Chucks are the way to go.

    Chucks all the way.

Tough to spread the floor with nothing on your feet.

I'm not sure what kind of squatter I am. The heaviest I went that day was 3 reps at 335, attempted 3 reps at 350 and didn't quite make the 3rd one (had spotter). I weigh a little over 190. I don't know what "level" this places me at. I tend to be rather high-bar, very vertical. My back and front squat look similar except for where the bar is in relation to my centerline of course.

    3X335 (without red light) =352,
    2X350 (without red light) = 360

half the folks I see would get a red light following IPF (below parallel, most just do parallel), especial using highbar. Biomechanics just make it tough to go highbar.

181lb male hits advance at 370lb, Elite is 480lb

I'm currently considered Elite on Bench, Advance on Squat, Intermediate on Deadlift (nasty habit of being quad dominate and T-Rex arms). @165

I try to always hit and or be slightly below on squats. I don't know what I deadlift. I can do 6 or so at 315, and 225x20. The most I've cleaned is around 230ish.

My 1rm for squat is 375. The 335x3 was just part of my workout.

My bench is trash with a current max around 260, best ever was 275 at 173bw. I literally do not train bench doing crossfit, so it lags. I may well supplement bench training. But I've always sucked at bench.
