Another plug for Lowa Zephers, my first pair is 5 years old and still rocking. I use them as daily wear, bought a second pair this only for a different color.

Not sure if I posted it, but their new Coyote Zephyrs are solid. Looks pretty good for 670-1.

    Footwear of Choice

Ok guys at the point where we have more tactical shoes than our women have heels, we need to do a man-check. ;-) LOL

Because my number is growing.. That said each pair does have a purpose.

    Wake,
you're referring to the GTX Hi TF boot? I like the mids, they do look like a very high quality boot. The soles on those boots look practically indestructible.

Yup. I don't think the materials technically meet AR, but the color is close enough that I don't think they'll attract too much attention in the field. My old pair of Zephyrs are the best boots I have ever worn.

Chucks. Unless it's a swampy, nasty, shithole, Chucks are the answer.

I kinda agree with this although I find them a bit stiff and need to be broken in. I own 2 pairs of the Low shoe and 2 pairs of the Mids and don't wear them all enough to get them to the comfort level. My Lowa Zephyr GTX Mid TF Hiking Boots are at the top of my list.

Where did you find that color? I wear chucks quite often and would jump all over a pair of that color.
