I know that a 13" KMR will cover 2/3rds of a gas block at the rifle location, so i should have at least 1" to spare between the front face (muzzle face) of the gas block and the front edge of the rail.

Can't hardly wait!

If the barrel is ordered with the gas block will the gas block and barrel be pre drilled for the pin, or come otherwise installed and ready to go? I don't have a jig/fixture for drilling out the pin so I am curious.

The basic block option comes without the block installed.

The barrel does include a dimple opposite the gas port for the set screw.

We may offer a full install & pin option if there is enough intetest.

It's around an inch long.

While FSBs are great, they're also very heavy and don't complement the design objectives for these barrels very well.

The extended gas system length also generally precludes a FSB in front of the rail.

These barrels are intended for use only with a low pro gas block under a free float rail.

Hence the elimination of the handguard cap shoulder and the short gas block journal.
