Not sure about the Harris boxed but the TCA bows say they take 18650s.

Yeah, my TCA came with an 18650 box and I put some Sony VTC6 batteries. So far so good. I mean, unprotected LiPos are “so far so good” until they blow up. Haa.

Is there a battery charger and/or a power cord that runs off a 12V plug for these? Like there is for the Baofeng and Yaesu?

So, I've been following this thread for a few years now and purchased a couple 152's as a result. Have any of you tried either of the programming cables that I've linked below? I searched this thread and couldn't find anything on these two.

Personally I haven’t. I’m all on Apple products and they don’t make software compatible with Macs. . I know you can make that work but I’m not a techie. Lol. I know some say they have no issue and some say it doesn’t work for shit. YMMV.

I figured out that TCA-152 for programming. I’ve got a Thales JEM manual for the 148 but for the life of me I can’t program channels with frequencies etc. anyone have any procedures that they know to work?

I've only done it manually Sparky. Did you find a cable that works or something or also doing it manually???
