I've seen a copy of Vicker's 1911 book that is owned by an acquaintance, it should have come with a companion book titled "The Art Of The Book".
The whole thing is just that nice.
Up men! Up! And to your posts! Let no man forget today that he is from Old Virginia! - General George Pickett
This book looks like a must-own. Steyr, great library. I need to beef up mine.
Fellas, fellas..... you forget Christmas is coming up, and tis the season to cajole, bribe, and make overly unrealistic promises about what you'll do to reciprocate next year if you can get such and such "as a Christmas gift and I'll never ask for anything else again oh please...."
You know, like how you justified the rest of your gun related purchases over the last [few] year[s]....

Steyr, I have 4 or 5 of those books. My Small Arms of the World is a 1983 edition. I didn't see Blake Steven's M14 book though.
People bitch about the price of LV's book but I paid $75 for John Plaster's MACV-SOG photo history book, and that was maybe 10+ years ago.

F**k China!
There are several Collector Grade books I don't have, but I only have one M1A so I haven't gotten around to that one yet. The set I really need is the Luger editions that recently came out. I'm also missing all of the Mauser rifle books.
And yeah, Plasters books on MAC-V SOG are incredible. My Small Arms of the World is also dated 1983, it's a 12th Edition and probably same as yours. It was one of the first "real" books on firearms that I owned and probably read it or looked something up once a week from 83-85. Despite having grown up reading SOF, Small Arms of the World really blew me away back then, it was amazingly comprehensive.
