    Colts "new" M16A1

Got to spend some time shooting it over the weekend. Colt really went the extra mile to make this gun a true replica. Guns ran well with no malfunctions witnessed.

    More pics to follow.

Looks very nice! That and a XM177E2 next to it would be cool.

Yes, I have it in my notes (will look it up tomorrow). People have to remember that these are VERY limited run and really will be classified as a "collector grade" weapon. So bring your wallet. ;-)

    SWEET!

(Not because I actually intend to buy one, but because it should make my real M16A1-kit-on-NODAK worth more... )

It looks pretty. I was super hyped and stoked to get one and/or the XM-177 but for what they may be charging....meh...I'd sooner stick with my SP1 and track down another one.

I wish this could be a catalog item like the Series 70. 1500ish would be fair but if we are going past 2k or 2500, no thanks. Glad it exists and Colt is recognizing its roots but I may sit this out. I still shoot my SP1 here and there.
I wish this could be under custom shop like the SAA.

But again, looks pretty and glad it exists

The SP1 isn't actually as authentic as this one is. You are also basing pricing off of 20,000 guns being produced. Not the case here.
