For some reason I'm reminded of the stormtrooper blasters in Star Wars (which, yes, were Sterling SMG's)... true on the no-brace, but I think it's safe to assume a hostile ATF isn't gonna care whether it has a brace or not, just "long barrel, rifle caliber, SBR!" Remember, this is the bunch that ruled a SHOELACE to be a machine gun? (The view from boots-on-ground LE may be different from mine, but I grew up among the pencil-necked papershufflers of my town's Bureaucratic/Political Class and am fluent in REMFthink.)
