Two of many shots at the First Saturday of the Month Car Show in Scottsdale, AZ. A free event that has some of the most beautiful, rare, and valuable examples of automotive 'art' in the home of the Barrett-Jackson Car Auction.

    Random favorite:

It was a cold day (for DC) and a weekday so I literally had the Mall all to my self. It was an eerie experience but did allow me to get some cool pics minus humans. I don't tend to like people in my pics.

Awesome Will. I plan to visit the memorial one day. A bucket list thing.

Totally worth it. Very moving and 'Murican. Not sure if this breaks the thread rule but:

    The full poem:

"When your time comes to die, be not like those whose hearts are filled with fear of death, so that when their time comes they weep and pray for a little more time to live their lives over again in a different way. Sing your death song, and die like a hero going home." - Tecumseh

This is not a good photo but it means a lot to me as it catches the essence of my daughter - focused and determined - as she wins the hurdles at a middle school track meet several years ago. Shot with a Canon EOS T3 on the Athletic burst setting.

    McPhaul Bridge near Yuma, AZ.

I grew up watching old westerns with my dad, so when we started coming out to Yuma to visit my grandparents (who wintered there from central California) I was naturally drawn to the area. In fact I liked the southwest so much I began my career in southern AZ. I went back to Yuma for training a few months back and while I was there hit a few of my old stomping grounds, including the abandoned McPhaul Bridge.

Good judgment comes from experience. And experience… well, that comes from poor judgment.
