Looking for some direction, have a spare 17 frame and thought I'd make a dedicated 22 out of it. So which conversion kit is best, Advantage Arms, Tac-Sol. Or anything I'm not thinking of. Any info is appreciated. Thanks

I was very satisfied with my AA conversion and wish I'd kept it. I had a spare G26 lower I used it on.

Let's use the First Amendment to protect the Second so we can avoid using the Second to protect the First.
Ditto on the AA. I really cant think of anything I've had problems with. It comes with the adjustable Glock Plastic Target Sight, I changed them out, but other than that, winner!

Thanks, Ive been leaning that way so I guess I'll go that route
Being a Glock guy, I've been interested in putting together a dedicated .22 pistol on a spare 19 frame. I've been hesitant due to the fact that many reviews suggest that the AA are ammo sensitive. Any truth to this?
I've used CCI 36gr mini mags (300 bulk), CCI40gr AR Tactical (300 bulk) and Federal 40 gr AutoMatch (325 bulk) in mine with good results.
For some reason our M&P 22 Pistol doesn't like the Auto Match.
I clean the .22's every couple hundred rounds (basically every time we shoot).
ETA: all of these are 1200FPS or greater.

I have an AA kit. Works good. Shoots a little high. Works good with most ammo. It does not like the federal bulk pack I got recently

Most .22 is Ammo sensitive. Unfortunately AA kits are pretty hard to find.
