One of my Christmas gifts from my wife was a very sweet addition to my Victorinox Swiss knife herd.

Have a 28" CE Gendaito by Shibata Ka, a Gendai Tosho of some reknown. He was noted for his ability to reproduce Koto era jihada (grain pattern).
This blade has fairly dramatic activity in the hamon (tempered edge); sunagashi, ko-nie, ashi, kinsuji.
