Handy size too, almost identical to the Kershaw Echo I carry so often.

I like to practice new knife mods on my FFKW Massdrop Crux, prior to trying them on customer knives - here's the latest version (zoom in so you can see the details)


MODs include polishing scales and clip to mirror and then flame anodizing, followed by an acid bath, action polished and tuned, blade acid/stonewashed then freehand sharpened on diamond stones and stropped to a mirror polish

Thank you! I had figured out the trigger too, but not the knife. I wonder how that 5160 blade steel works for hard use?

5160 is a great steel for larger blades.

But but, it's not m390 super steel and will rust within minutes of seeing water and only plebs would use 5160!

Chris Reeves Green Beret given to me by my buddy for my birthday. Army special forces are given this knife upon graduation- also called the "Yarborough". Their's is serialized and stamped Yarborough making it invaluable and unobtanium for Civilians. Really awesome knife and one of my favorites.
