The Strike series has a much better button/safety system than the Kalashnikovs, IMO. While the Böker German autos are in the $$$ range the PLUS & Kalashnikov Taiwan built autos won't make you cry if lost or stolen. So $40, what the hey. Also I really like the Strike scales and construction way better than my Kalashnikovs.
I just got the Desert Warrior on Tuesday.

The Police Model does not get carried. The silver SPEED LOCK is a project-in-progress EDC of the future.
The 65th AK-47 Anniversary Kalashnikov is carried a lot, and now the Strike will be as well.

Board policy mandates I state that I shoot for BCM. I have also done work for 200 or so manufacturers within the firearm community. I am prior service, a full time LEO, firearm instructor, armorer, TL, martial arts instructor, and all around good guy.

This Santa Fe Stoneworks knife is a Christmas gift from my wonderful daughter and it has just become my favorite knife.

And it now goes with my compact AZ BBQ sidearm!

The inlaid handle is composed of MOP (like the M60 stocks) and Kingman AZ Turquoise & AZ sourced volcanic rock. The craftsmanship is pure artwork.

SF SW does some beautiful work:

Here’s my favorite hunting knife, hand forged by Don Bruton, a renown knife maker and builder of early Southern Mountain muzzleloading flintlock longrifles. This blade wears a 5-3/4” blade, sharpest blade I own (and easy to maintain on a Work Sharp system), with a handle fit to my hand.

Given that 10-shots are a group and 5-shots may be a favorable trend ... know that just one good 3-shot group can make you an instant internet superstar!
