Glock 42 vs Ruger LCP II--Size Comparison

Here are a few photos of the. 380ACP Glock alongside the new Ruger. The LCP is actually quite ridiculous in how small it is.

I just picked up a LCP II yesterday. I was really surprised at how much better it was than the original and how much more controllable and easy to shoot it was compared to the block 42. Ruger really hit it out of the park in my opinion with the LCP II.
Lack of Lubrication -- a lot of folks who learned on bolt guns don't understand that gas guns like women run better wet.

That Ruger has a strange barrel profile, is that done for a more balanced pistol or is there some other significance to that profile? I've never noticed that type of profile before.

How is the trigger on that new Ruger? I see that Ruger refers to it a a single action pistol, how does the new trigger compare to the old double action Lcp?

The trigger is actually pretty darned good. Probably too good for this type of pistol.

I'm assuming the double click reset is gone? That's the only fault I have with my LCP.
