Vortex's new Holographic Sight Razor AMG UH-1

Vortex just released a pic of this last night.

Meet the Razor® AMG® UH-1, affectionately known in-house as “Huey.” The UH-1 is a completely new force in weapon-mounted holographic technology, and you’re the first to see it. Inside its durable aluminum chassis, the UH-1 features rugged internals with fewer moving parts than traditional holographic sights, all equating to maximum durability. One CR123A battery powers the sight, with the option of running rechargeable LFP 123A’s, which can be recharged using the on-board, waterproof, micro-USB port. Lastly, because the shooter is the only one who should be able to see the New EBR-CQB reticle, the entire system has been engineered to virtually eliminate all traces of forward signature, unlike any other red dot or holographic sights on the market.

Interesting - just bought an aimpoint but I'll be curious to see how this product turns out.

Good looking bugger, but what a niggardly tease. At least show a picture of the reticle. And a release time frame.

Cool, it has rechargeable batteries and all, but my biggest question is what will the actual battery life be.

I'm very interested in this sight. I have always liked my EoTech 512, but after the flap have kind of lost faith in EoTech.

I see this as a good alternative to the EoTech.

I hope that it (the Vortex) has better battery life, and the street price is lower then the MSRP.

I can't wait to see more details on this.

Be interesting in the gun room to have the sight always plugged in so that it is always fully charged, or would that be bad for batteries.
