Man, eotech and vortex are swapping lanes haha. Eotech just announced their new ffp scope line with their 1-6 being the new flagship and vortex is stepping into the huge hole that eotech left. Definitely interested in trying one of these out for sure.

Mine too. Can't wait to see one in person.

Totally missed that, but you're spot on!

I was about to pull the trigger on a Leupy LCO, but now I'm gonna hold off to check out the Vortex AMG.

Hopefully these are made to the same ruggedness as the Razor HD Gen 2 1-6s and not like their other red dot models. I can't wait to get more info on these buggers.

Bad experience with their other models? The SPARC line have literally worked after being microwaved, set on fire, bashed, etc. I thought they were good to go.

Guess I'll have to wait till January to buy my new Red dot. Very intriguing.

Interesting for sure, but not quite sure what true use it would be. Seems that the eye would naturally gravitate towards the center of the circle. It's why donuts, circle dots... seem fast. This one would actually require a fight against instinct in a situation where time is NOT your friend. With that stated, final judgement will need to wait till we get some actual use.

I used the 6 O'clock bottom hash mark on the Eotech reticle for CQB inside of 10yds for over a decade and speed was never
an issue. Using the bottom hash of the 65moa ring for CQB has been common knowledge for many, many years.
