    Given that 300bo supersonic is more important than OD, I think I'll go with the 9k. Thanks for the help guys!

    Rather than start a new thread I will ask my question here. It's somewhat applicable. Rather than 300bo through a 9mm can, can I run 9mm through a 300 blackout can? Specifically the griffin recce 7. I tried searching and only found answers regarding the 300 through 9mm and not the other way around. Sorry for the thread jack.

    no, 9mm is bigger than 7.62mm

    There is not a significant tc. It may be better, but it's not going to be as effective as a good supersonic round like 300blk black tip or 7.62x39 with a good load.

    Is subsonic effective? Yes. But given the choice, I would opt for supers. Ymmv.
