    QD suppressor mount antisieze

Not too long ago (within the past year?), there was a thread that discussed seized suppressors/mounts...

Some one (Scott Ryan?) suggested using an antisieze on the flash suppressor...

Wondering which antisieze compound was recommended?

    Thank you,

    NC

Any automotive high temp will do... But personally say it's over kill! Keep the threads on both clean with a brush and you shouldn't see any problems.

I tried the high temp anti seize and it made no difference. I just use a brush and fireclean and clean and lube after each use.

Threadsmart anti seize. It is a white high temp grease.

On take apart silencers, I smear it on every component, baffle, and threaded connection.

Would there be any issue using this grease on the flash hider mount for a Surefire 556-212 suppressor?

Rocksett was used between the flash hider/mount and the barrel...I'm asking about the use of anti seize between the suppressor and mount to avoid it being stuck after shooting it
