Last winter I took their Outdoor Emergency Care Program and would recommend it to anyone that has the opportunity to take this training and/or volunteer for the NSP.
They describe it as 80% of EMT training and of course patient packaging to get them safely down the hill; from now on large triangle slings will be a part of my kit bag.
