I've used anything between Trijicon 4x to an aimpoint but most recently is a Primary Arms 2.5x and a RMR slant mounted. To me this is the best setup. The PA has just enough magnification for sight requisition and it has bullet drop compensation so it's perfect, good clear glass. Plus using the RMR is seemless and feels very natural on the Tavor when I pivot the rifle to the left and bam I have a dot.

I have better long range options. Mine is meant as a compact gun and it sees some truck/travel and backpack duty. It has killed a lot of pigs, oddly, maybe more than everything else I have combined. An RDS of some sort works for me. It isn’t light weight, so trying to go minimal seems unnecessary. I had a T2 but moved it. I’ve tried an ACOG, Eotech, LPVO, and I landed on an Aimpoint pro. It has been there for years now.
