    Yeah except both of those designs have demonstrated early failures. And they also trap that pressure inside the gas tube....not what i want for my pressure vessel.

    That's what I use. VASTLY more rugged than any adjustable carrier, has the divergent gas routing from the interior of the gas key to the toroidal expansion chamber behind the tail of the bolt (100% unique), and has the altered cam-pin track (100% unique) which aids in delaying timing. Further, the four gas ports assist in venting excess gasses at the the tail-end of the gas expansion cycle.

    No other carrier has the first two features. Few do a decent job of approximating the third.
