    Surefirex300u- A vs B for GLock 19?

I am finishing up a roland special build for a gen3 19 and see there are two different mounting systems now, the model a and model b. Is there an advantage to one over the other when it comes to this weapon system? Gun will be riding in a RCS Perun.

    Thanks.

Either one will work, but the B would be “clone” correct.

B is said to be more secure, while A is easier to remove. I’ve never had an issue with the A models staying on my guns, and they fit more holsters so that’s what I use.

Thank you. I'm wanting the most secure fit. Its going to be subjected to a lot of rounds.

Never had an issue with the A model or any of the other X series lights staying secure on any of my Glock's, or any of the other weapons that I have them on, to date and I have been using SF X series lights since they were first introduced. I have had a few issues with the B series, but they aren't related to them staying on the guns. Either one will work, but based on your holster choice, the B model is what you want.

Just don't bend your frame using the thumb screw on the B model.

Kinda late to this party, but the -A version is said to be better suited for polymer framed handguns.

Would this be done by overtorquing the screw?

That is exactly how this happens.
