No, it really isn't. With that said, be somewhat honest about the roll this scope will be used for. The reason I says that is if you are pretty much always going to use the upper magnifications, then get a 2-10.

Looks promising. I wish NF would step up and do a 1-8x. I'm looking for a 1-8 for a SR25 but not sure anyone is knocking the CQBSS off it's thrown just yet. Glad others are getting in the 1-8 game.

I've looked through the mk8 CQBSS and comparing it side by side to my VCOG I thought glass was the same quality but the Leupold reticle's are too busy to me, I think Trijicon has the winner with the 1-8. Trijicon and Leupold glass are the same quality and both are durable but for the price I can't not want the 1-8.

What do you think the estimated street price will be, with an MSRP of $1,700? That's Nightforce money, isn't it?

The new Vortex is supposed to be around $1,200, I think.

I have been pondering a 1-8x. I have a 1-6.5x however, and would have to be really impressed to spend that much for an upgrade.

I do know someone here who is going to eval one, I'll send him a link to this thread.
