I was all like what's an ACC? Hopped on GunBroker and was like nope!

We sold all the ones we had so we should start to see reviews soon.

This is a great time for variable optics.

I always enjoyed reading Jeff Gurwitch's Competition to Combat Crossover articles over at Defense Review. Lots of institutional wisdom from guys on the pointy end. The trend in both spheres towards 1-4, 1-6, and now maybe 1-8 optics makes sense. As fast as a red dot is, being able to discriminate a target from a background, glass something for intel, or make precision shots at distance makes a variable king in a lot ways.

Between this, the NF lines, Vortex, Leupold's patrol line, and the Primary Arms Platinum, there's a lot of options out there in good price range for 1-6. Hopefully, this is a sign that the same is coming on for 1-8.

Mine is supposed to be here tomorrow. I ordered the red MOA version. I'm hoping I can get used to the Reticle since I've mostly used BDC style reticles.

Definitely let us know how you like it and how easy the red is to pick up outdoors in sunlight. I have a feeling I'll own one of these soon myself.

the brown truck dropped mine off today from G&R

the review posted above by sage dynamics is very good. i also have a slight bit of bleed through when the illumination is set higher than it needs to be , i'm curious if the red led models do this also. i still need to pick up a 34mm mount so i can take it out and do some shooting with it but my initial impression of it is very good. it seems like a pretty feature packed scope at a good price point.

here are a few pics of the reticle in the sun , illumination was set to 11. the reticle and the glass are much better than these pics represent. these were taken with an old ipotato in one hand and the scope in the other.

i don't know if any variable's are true 1x but the accupower looks pretty good on 1x

Not a fan of the noncapped turrets even if they are locking. To me this optic leans more on the PRS side of the house. Seriously who is going to be dialing in their dope on a 8x optic that already has a graduated reticle. Not exactly the optic of choice for shooting for to 1000m and beyond.
