Griffin Armament Revolution 9, fixed barrel use

So I've been using my Rev 9 on pistols only so far, and now I have a 9mm AR type to use it with. I would like the triangle lug adapter but they are nowhere to be found, so I was wondering, if I use one of the revolution fixed mounts, do I also need the fixed barrel spacer? Or does the use of the fixed barrel mount eliminate the need for the fixed barrel spacer? I'd call GA, but I can't find their number anymore.

    thanks,
    scott

Fixed mount, or piston with fixed barrel spacer. You can't use both at the same time.

The SiCo Octane 3-lug coupler is compatible with the Revolution cans. Those are available pretty much everywhere.

That's right, but I think the SiCo tri lug adapter adds a fair amount to the length, but yes they are out there fore sure. Something to think about

Isn't this what your looking for?

But yes, use either the fixed mount or the spacer with piston.

Thanks, yes, that's the one, but they don't have the 9mm version in stock. I wonder if the SiCo spacer would work. I can probably find one local.

Thank you, and I actually found a rugged 3 lug mount.

Any reason to go with a direct thread mount over the 3 lug on a 9mm AR? as far as reliability and reducing chances for baffle strikes.

its just preference.. the 3 lug is a quick connect/disconnect mount. and direct is direct.. On my sub 9mm guns i like the 3 lug cause I can just swap it around hosts easily
hk mp5, sig mpx, and my buddies ar9
but if you are looking for a more detailed answer look to see who has more parts readily available for your set up
3 lug adapters in your thread pitch..
fixed piston mount or a piston/piston spacer combo..
