Glock serial numbers

Is there a way to check Glock S# for date of manufacture besides calling Glock?

It may not have your exact number but you can usually narrow it down to a month or two and the year.

I found the BABXXXXX to date around 94. And GGCXXXXX to 2004

Stopped at the LGS today and they had a clean gen 2 G17. Barely fired, box, tools, books, mags ....all for under $400. Wanted to find out the manufacturer date. While I was at it figured I'd check my gen 3 EDC G19
