556BR - The trigger was pulled apart, cleaned, reassembled, continued to have the issue after the new barrel (<100rds). It was just pulled apart again to measure the pin holes as a data point and all was clear of debris and it was no dirtier than you'd expect with less than 100 rounds down the pipe. Thanks for your input, I'll be giving Geissele a call in the AM and report back.

You should try a A5-H4 buffer. This really shouldn't matter to the core issue of the trigger not resetting, but I think you'll like it better and it should help tame the action.

Got ahold of Geissele and spoke with a tech there. Described and discussed the issues and the components of the weapon. Pictures were requested and sent. I'll keep everyone apprised to their findings and the results of whatever solution they come up with.

If the trigger isn't resetting, it could be due to the disconnector spring being damaged due to being installed upside down. The damage may not be enough to show up until carrier speeds are increased, in this case, from the installation of the suppressor

Interesting. First thing I thought of was the Tavor Timney trigger that wouldn't reset with suppressor use. Eventually they fixed it but I'm not sure what the actual fix was....

    Update:

Received a reply from Geissele via email this morning.

    Good Morning Justin,

Thank you for contacting us and thank you for sending over those pictures. I apologize for the pin, from the pictures it appears that it is a bit too short. The shorter pin would have let the hammer to move a bit more than it should have. Please send me your shipping address and I will get you a new trigger group in the mail with a return tag for the old one Sir.

    Thank You,
    Charlie
I'll report back after a little range time with the new trigger group.

Wouldn't expect anything less. Their customer service has been nothing short of excellent.

Yeah, Geissele CS its top notch.

As I figured, too much movement in the hammer assembly.

They're actually going to be able to trace the assembly back according to the serial numbers, in order to better identify what caused the issue.
