I am, just not as often since I'm no longer on leave. Was the update from about a week ago, or more recent?

I've had the whole thing beat for a while. Now I'm just getting on randomly to work on exploring all the unknown locations and getting all the rebel support side missions and supplies found.

Also found a thing on Youtube about there possibly being a YETI is the Inca mountain range province (southwest corner of game area). You can find evidence of people being attacked by the Yeti, there is a Yeti hunter costume, a Shotgun that the description states its for "Bringing down big hairy beasts in the mountains". So now my Yeti hunt is occupying me if I get bored of playing Battlefield 1.

The new update really restores a lot of the guns' power.

Still trying to get the cardenal. But I landed a 600m hit with the G 28. It doesnt seem to drop so bad now. Found my hash hold and SPLAT.

For whatever reason the pope gets away.

    Still...fun to play

ETA I actually finally got the Pope.
I would play much more but my bro got bored with it and bailed on me...

    When was the update?

Ha, I was actually doing that mission myself last night. (At the same time you posted) I finally got him by calling in a helo and landing it on the northwest side of the building and going in from there. I like the G28, but it seemed to drop like a rock vs the SR25. I will have to pull it out again and see if the patch helped it.

El Cardinal was the hardest mission so far. I'm about 3/4 through the game. Probably failed his mission like 15 times in co-op. Finally did it single player by doing rebel spotting and sync shotting them down 3 at a time.

New patch this week btw. Consoles got it already, PC gets it Friday.

The G28 fix was a week or two ago.

I hadnt picked up in a minute myself and popped it in yesterday. Thats when I noticed the patch.

I got the cardenal by jumping off the balcony, killing civvy and sicario alike with Mk. 48, grabing his old ass, finding cover, calling in mortars and carjacking a two seater truck.

It made me pissed when the CIA lady's big idea was to hold a prayer meeting.

When Sueno offered me a job, I almost wish I could have taken it. I hate the CIA lady. I also hate grinding on rebel ops to get rebel use out of them.

Having finished it, and gotten all of the achievements, I agree with your last sentence quite a bit. Can't wait until you finish the story.

The first time I tried getting the cardinal, was parachuting onto the roof and working my way down and threw his ass in the trunk, but got screwed by a MAJOR road block and ended up getting ambushed. Had to try that mission about 7 times before I got it an I just wanted to shoot him then and there on the spot only to find her praying with him....

I also parachuted onto the top of the building. He split, I got downed by some asshole from 100m dual wielding scorpions. Was able to grab a car and chase the priest down by ramming his car off a cliff and grabbing him halfway down. Unidad shows up, like they always do out of thin air. I kill them. Throw baby toucher in the armored car and barely got out. F that mission.

Dont spoil it but I think it will make me feel like a tool for even playing.

And not in an intelligent way like Metal Gear where you got a sob story after an epic fight or Spec Ops the Line. Spec Ops the Line made me feel like an asshole. Especially after that one part.

ETA I'm glad I am not the only one who tried jumping in. It seems like a good idea but isnt.

Per jumping in to places, I wish you could get rebels to fly you over a path in a light plane so you can decide when or if you really want to jump instead of wasting helicopters by crashing them.
