How about he was right about being spied on?
True he went way out there and said he was being bugged in Trump Towers, but at this point, it is really beginning to look like that may well be fact.
    This;
    https://news.grabien.com/story-nunes...ump-camp-surve
Read that last paragraph where Nunes states:
"This surveillance has nothing to do with Russia."
    Edit to add;http://www.breitbart.com/video/2017/...lly-collected/
Nunes said, “So first I recently confirmed that on numerous occasions, the intelligence community incidentally collected information about U.S. citizens involved in the Trump transition. Details about U.S. persons associated with the incoming administration, details with little or no apparent foreign intelligence value were widely disseminated in intelligence community reporting. Third, I have confirmed that additional names of Trump transition team members were unmasked. And fourth and finally I want to be clear, none of this surveillance was related to Russia or the investigation of Russian activities or of the Trump team.”

Roll that around a minute, so what is it tied to? It's been going on since mid-summer, no one's been briefed and for the most part some in the IC have been keeping secrets they shouldn't have and then leaking the results to selected sources within the Press.
So the POTUS goes off on a Twitter tangent, but more and more it looks like someone deep in the swamp has been spying doesn't it?

Not quite sure I'd go to Trump being right, but he also wasn't wrong either. I guess Obama didn't physically tap his phones, but he was being surveilled by some government agency.

We know he was/is being investigated for ties to Russia. That includes surveillance. So he was right that people were listening to his and his staff.

Nunes states that in addition to the Russia investigation there was other data collected. Guessing as collateral in some other operation that was not disclosed to anyone.

We also know that someone leaked that info to the press.

We can bury our heads in our asses and play word games about wire tapping or Obama or whatever or we can accept that some entity in the IC was/is/will leak classified info for personal or political gain. Don't care if you hate or love Trump; that's a bad thing for the USA. It's a bad thing for Americans.

Everything so far. He was being monitored or in his words "wiretapped".

Okay, so Trump used the word "wiretapped" as a generic term to describe any form of surveillance. The depth to which people parse words to try to "catch" somebody or just to prove how smart they are continues to disgust me.

"Clips" versus "magazines" all over again.

I agree with you. It has gotten a little out of hand the past few years.

I find it rather odd that when Comey came out the other day none of what Nunes said yesterday was mentioned by Comey.
So is the IC still monitoring the President? Has the IC been politicized and now uses the Press to leak the stories that they want out there to the people in order to push a political agenda? Where are these leaks coming from and why hasn't Comey began an investigation?
I would say fire Comey and his number two man and clean house at the FBI first. Comey has been enjoying the star status and McCabe hasn't been 100% truthful, that we know. Being that as fact, it would seem to be a good place to start.
I'm pretty sure at this point the POTUS has no idea outside of a small inner circle of people just who he cant trust. He's being left with very few choices at this point.

It sounds like the FBI and CIA are firmly in the pockets of the globalists with the few exceptions that exposed the Clinton campaign e-mails.

Trump's March 4th Tweet accused Obama of spying on him deliberately and for some nefarious purpose. That is called targeted surveillance and would be illegal as shit if done as Trump alleged; hence his comparisons to McCarthyism and Nixon. Nunes came out and said that the Trump transition members were surveilled legally and incidentally which means they were recorded because the Feds were targeting other people for surveillance. That can happen to anyone and has probably happened to you. For example, if you order a pizza from a D.C. cafe that is under surveillance for pimping kids - congratulations, you were incidentally recorded. It doesn't mean that you were targeted.

Unless I'm mistaken, Nunes never claimed that Trump or his associates were targeted by federal investigators for who they were. They ended up on tape because the people who they were talking to were targets of US intelligence.

The only place that I'm seeing Trump being vindicated is were Nunes noted that the intelligence community was not adequately masking members of his team. That can be a real problem IF the leaks about Flynn came from the intelligence community. So far, Comey has denied that the leaks came from him and will not even admit that a felony occurred in the handling of Flynn's SIGINTL. Finally, I'm still waiting to Trump to start holding some people's feet to the fire if he has the evidence that he claims to have.

Okay, so Trump made an honest mistake. Who wouldn't think the surveillance was deliberate given all the other different ways Trump's opposition has threatened to impeach, imprison, or otherwise ruin him?

Frankly, the man has the patience of a saint. If it were me I think I'd be using my billions to hire people to make sure some of these enemies shut their effing mouths under threat of something more than what nice people talk about.
