I have an EMC that I would like to change the flashhider to a Surefire Warcomp, but it will not budge when I try to get it off wrench, heat, will not move. Are they put on with a fastener, locktite? Any ideas?

Rocksett is what is used.

Tap on the muzzle end of the FH with a hammer to break the rocksett, heat is useless as the rocksett resists it by design.

Soak it in water. That will break down rocksett.

We break down thousands of guns with KAC rocksetted muzzle devices, and I personally have removed or changed several dozen such devices.
I have tried several methods of removal, and have found that there is no difference in removal due to soaking in water.
Firmly fixturing the work, use a well fitting crow's foot, and use a long breaker bar (I think mine is 18").
Heating the muzzle device can help, but I have only needed to do that one time, and was a result of gross overtorque on assembly.
