Put another 250 down range today with what I think will be the setup I stay with for the future. Its just a ton of fun setup as a lightweight battle rifle

It shoots great so far but I only recently got it scoped and haven't had too many range sessions with it yet. Was hoping to go again this weekend but bad weather out here and a busy work schedule have been getting in the way. My local range only goes as far out as 500m (steel only) but I've had it out there twice now. 175gr FGMM seems to do the trick in this gun.
Not too many APRs out there it would seem, 16" is definitely the popular choice these days. On TOS there is a huge SR-25 thread and I don't think I've seen another APR there. When I ordered this one the dealer tried hard to talk me out of it.
So torn on comp m4, or a mk6, for an sr25 acc
I feel the 1-6 MK6 is plenty efficient on 1x. Sure, it's not an Aimpoint, but I think what you gain in the ability to get to 6x is a bigger plus then the difference on 1x on certain rifles for me at least. Same reasoning why I put a MK6 on my last 12.5 build. Putting the Weight aside in the decision.
Factoring weight you are looking at...
The MK6 I have with ADM mount is 25.78 oz
The M4s I have with lower 1/3 ADM mount is 12.68 oz.
13oz difference. No flip ups or killflsh or bikini cover or anything on either optic. So adding almost another lb could be a deal breaker for sure.

I have a 1-6 MK6 I plan on putting on my ACC.
