Here's my 6.8mm SBR I put together last winter. I have fired about 2200 rounds since I built it without one malfunction (all handloads using 115 FMJ's/H322/2300fps).
Colt upper receiver with Noveske Crusader 12.5" S/S barrel and 9" LaRue forend, LMT front & rear sights. Colt M16 carrier w/ Noveske bolt. Sun Devil billet lower.
Old school Viet Nam era teardrop. Colt 9mm SMG trigger/hammer pins (cause that's what I had) PRI mag's (20 rounders, 25's are too long). LMT SOPMOD buttstock. Oh, I went with an Armalite flash hider as I feel the others are too much.
It's the rifle I would grab first if there were things that needed to be shot.

Here is my new Les Baer .264/6.5 in last Friday. I am waiting for the factory .264 Hornady/black hills factory ammo to come in. LB says April. They fire two five shot groups with this new ammo. 5 shots in that picture. This gun looks promising!

I added some Magpul goodies that I had lying around and a Sight Mark sight. I am going fab something up at the rear of the receiver to mimic an ASAP plate. Great low budget shooter.

I love it!!!
Profile is real close to my DDM49.0. Very well fabricated from 1 piece of 7075 billet. Barrel install was a breeze. I don't know the exact weight, but it certainly isn't heavy. Don't think I'll build with anything else.
