I knew that was the case with the Bobro but didn't realize it was true for the Scalarworks as well so I was bummed there when I learned it the hard way.

My Bobro and Scalarworks liked up great with the G33.

Do you shoot nose to charging handle? I don't (maybe I should) and I have issues with the eye relief of the G33, especially if it is in front of BUIS. I am hoping Aimpoints new military magnifiers are a little better in this regard, the 6x is long enough I don't think it would matter much, and the 3x is said to have about .5" longer eye relief. I wonder how the twist mounts will line up with the lower 1/3rd and 1.93" micro mounts?

You're a fan of the 1.93" mounts, esp. with NVG. I watched the RB1 Knight's video, Falla has a good pitch. In the video he mentioned his forthcoming mount with magnifier riser being 3-3.5" height over bore? His is much taller than the 1.93" Geissele, no? Is the 1.93" HOB or height above top rail?
I don't shoot NTCH, brother. I basically keep my cheek on the SOPMOD stock and I would guess that puts me around an inch or so back from the charging handle.

The 1.93" mounts are the height over rail to the center of the optic, yep.

I used the DD mounts for my T1's and have just purchased a T2 with the Scalarworks lower 1/3 mount. Looking forward to getting it in and running on my Noveske SBR.

The LT lever will eventually create a "pocket" in your receiver and work itself loose. The mount is also sliding back and fourth as you are shooting.

Everyone here says this, but I have yet to experience any pockets. I also don't see any indication that the mount is sliding back and forth.

Well as LT's FIRST dealer, let me assure you that it happens (eventually).

You need hi-speed video to see it.

It's a much bigger issue on 308 gas guns and SCARs.

We see it on 556 AR's. Ken Hackathorn came into my shop one day and while I was looking over his rifle, I grabbed the Aimpoint. It shifted back and fourth. I asked him if he had messed with it and he said he had not. Over a 1-2 year time table (with a lot of shooting), the mount worked itself loose.

My favorite game to play at carbine classes was to go around and grab LT mounts to see if I could move them. :-)
