Nice build! If you had to rank one or the other as "closer to DD" for a Block 2, which way would you call it between BCM and Centurion? (Aside from the nuisance of BCM not offering cutout or pocket rails, and the pain in the rear from my preference of fixed FSB's for "serious work" guns... yeah, I know, fixed-FSB Block II's are a rarity in general, and the FSB version where I'm aiming a unicorn among unicorns, possibly even a never-was beyond one or two prototypes--I know DD made at least one because there was a photo of it in a SOCOM Powerpoint I saw about the Block II SOPMOD program that showed both flattop and pocket rails for 10.3", 12.5" and 14.5" URG's.)

Im not sure if I have or not. Ive had the MRO for a couple years now. Overall I think it's a good dot but it definitely has more parallax issues than an Aimpoint. I switched from an Aimpoint to this because my astigmatism sees this dot better than the Aimpoints. However I recently got to look through a new T2 and that dot was significantly better. Also double the price.

When I had the lower absolute cowitness mount I could see the parallax issues when shooting for groups. It was maybe an inch or so at 50 yards. With a higher mount I dont have the issue as much due to better head positioning. Im hoping to re-zero the rifle this week and I want to try and due a full parallax test with the dot at the absolute edges to see how it performs.

I think it's a good optic overall. I find it easier when doing transitions or in awkward positions than the Aimpoint Micros. Not that the Micros were bad, but this is just a little easier. However in those situations you do have more parallax which could be an issue. Shooting half size steel IDPAs at 50-100 yards under cars and around barricades hasnt been an issue for me though.

I do think I will probably end up replacing it with a EXPS model though. But Im not in a hurry to do so.

I also have an MRO that I bought fairly recently after release and have found the same issues, shooting around barricades and in odd kneeling positions made me think for the longest time that I was off. I have had Aimpoint PROs that would give me shift but nothing as significant. Now that I know that and how to lollipop the FSP in odd positions it still works, but I have it on one of my odder rifles I don't shoot near as much.

Painted the MK 12 Mod 1 not an exact clone but close.
Optics are almost impossible to find and when found pricey. Bipod still a project looking for the ARMS mount. But I do have the AEM5

    Just swapped out some parts.
Got a Radian Raptor LT charging handle and a BAD ASS Pro safety. Installed the safety with the 60 degree throw to see if I like it.

Those replaced some mil-spec parts. Charging handle did have a PRI latch like the gas buster but was just a standard charging handle.

Finally ended up with an Eotech for my MK18. Picked up a XPS2-0 direct from Eotech for $430 shipped (25% off via Expert Voice). If you get verified using Expert Voice, the discounts aren't bad.

Finally got around to getting a proper WML after years of running a SF G2X on a Gear Sector mount.

Went with the Arisaka/Malkhoff combo with the Modlite Mod Button Lite for activation. Arisaka mount as well.

Today, I zero’d my BRT 16” stainless steel barrel with a Leupold VX-R Patrol Firedot 3-9x after putting the Magpul bipod back on it. IMI 77gr RazorCore. 50yd zero, looked about right at 100 and grouped at an inch with a sub-par shooter; the modded Centurion AST absolutely helped. Super fun to get out and use the gun.
