Switched out the BCM KAG for a Vendetta Precision VP-24 handstop on one of my rigs. To be honest the KAG never felt right for me.

i had the will power to not buy guns. I even bought a gun store and work for a company that manufactures the forging machines for said guns. I need help.
Played around with adding an offset RMR to me WC TacRecon.
Hopefully it gets dry enough this weekend to go to the range and rattle off some ammo.

Put an Incforce WMLx on a 16” rifle to finish it off. On to the next project I go!
Drilled and tapped my gas block for gas reduction inserts. Made some different size inserts.
Purchased a S&W 15-22.
We finally got a little snow here in NE Oklahoma, so I decided to take advantage of it and run a small test on my most recent pistol build while it's cold. It usually sports a Surefire SOCOM RC2 but I really wanted to test function without the can in colder conditions.
Upper:
11.5" Colt FBI barrel (.070 port size), LMT enhanced carrier with the enhanced bolt, Geissele super gas block with a .063 BRT port insert, Surefire closed tine Warcomp, Geissele 10" MK3 rail, and a V7 inconel gas tube.
Lower:
LMT MARS lower, Geissele Super 42 spring and buffer (H2 weight), and a Geissele SSP trigger.
I went out and found a small snowdrift in our pasture. I dropped the "pistol" loaded with a mag full of IMI M855 in a cheap white trash bag and burried it about a foot deep in the snow. I left it burried for a little over six hours before digging it out. Temperature was roughly 18 to 20 degrees outside.
To my surprise the rifle functioned fine. The first few rounds felt ever so slightly sluggish with very minimal recoil, but after roughly ten rounds or so that sluggish feeling seemed to disappear completely. It even managed to lock the bolt to the rear once empty. I ran a few more mags through it with the same results as well. Overall I am pleased with the results, though I know it isn't exactly the most scientific test.

I stared at the screws that came with the Magpul offset mount and the holes in the M600DF light and thought to myself “it’s too big, there’s no way that will fit.”
