What have you done to your AR(s) today?

Finally had to admit to myself that my astigmatism was making my time on the range, when using an Aimpoint H-1 Micro on my GP carbine, a lesson in futility. The "grape cluster" was constantly changing shape and size whenever I blinked. Purchased a Vortex Spitfire AR a few weeks ago and have been ringing it out on the range. My Lord what a difference an etched reticle with adjustable ocular makes. Shooting my BCM with the Spitfire is now becoming a learning experience that I enjoy. Will be replacing the Aimpoint PRO on my 6920 with another Spitfire AR in the future, or maybe with a Spitfire 3X.

Excellent point about the needs of bad eyes. Question: Did any of our BTDT's ever take a Spitfire over into the Rockpile?

Replaced the RAS II on my SOCOM build with an M4 RAS, and installed an SSA-E trigger. Debating on replacing the LMT fixed rear sight with a Matech, so I can mount my TA-31 RCO.

Nothing too exciting just some trigger swaps and then adding some extra stickers to a hard case. Removed the G2S from my ADM UIC and installed a Geissele SD-C then took the G2S and put it in my sons BCM 14.5". The case project was a bit of desperation to keep my 4 yr old occupied so I had to give a bit when some Minnie Mouse stickers made their way onto the case.

I joined the Larue MBT2s gang that seems to be forming here. Not gonna sell my G trigger, but I am glad I bought 2 at the price point these things are at.

I added a aimpoint pro to my camo painted 14.5. Now I have to color match it and add a pic to the proper forum.

Got son's upper back from ADCO. There doesn't seem to be any weight penalty going to the URX vs standard M4 furniture and FSB. Got the Primary Arms 3x prism roughly sighted in at 50yds. 1 more trip to the range might be in order to confirm. Still trying to convince him to go to a LPVO or a red dot + magnifier. This thing weighs too much for the limited capability that it brings to the table. If anyone has a URX panel kit they want to get rid of LMK.

Ambi mag catches for C8 and M4 arrived, installed on C8. Accuwedge for C8 final lower (and one planning ahead for C7) arrived and set aside--Aero lowers have a similar standoff machined right into the lower, so not needed yet. Ditto sling swivel for eventual Aero M16A4 upper. SOPMOD for M4 on the way from the EE.
