Another vote on the LMT MRP, solid gun. What barrel are you looking at or required? Nice thing is with a 16" and go the SBR route, easy to switch to a shorty.

Installed a DD OMEGA RAIL 9.0, PICATINNY and SF DF on my PSA/BCM budget gun.

    ETA: The weigh in...

    Take-off plastic handguards w/ double heat shields - 7.65oz
DD OMEGA RAIL 9.0, PICATINNY - 10.10oz (advertised weight is 9.8 oz)

A 2.45oz increase, I'd call it good weight. For reference, the M-lok version has an advertised weight of 8.2 oz.

This rail was on my BCM backup training gun, but I took it off to make ready for a Centurion C4 Mid cut...

    Lightbulb

Hung the light on my almost-completed rifle. Sling and sling mounts in-bound.

After getting a new optic and moving a couple of optics around, I zeroed those rifles.

M4: Took delivery of a Unique ID tag from @CharlieDeltaJuliet and fielded some questions from John at Retro Arms re prep work on my pin-and-weld.

C8: Took delivery of four recoil pads via Mil-Spec Solutions in the UK (one "prime," one "spare" and a similar prime/spare set to set aside for possible future C7 build--assuming our M16/C7 set 1. goes forward at all and 2. doesn't get shortcutted as swappable uppers), to be Gunkoted with their new air-cure Napa Green as soon as my local gunsmith reopens.

Posible future "GL/SSC-ish": Ordering a spacer from Retro since he's got a package he's going to be shipping to me anyway.

I picked up a Colt 6920 (backup gun) with a Troy Charlie rail, VlTor EMOD stock and Ergo grip just before CV19 shut everything down in early March. I added an FDE Magpul mag, a FDE ERGO grip, a Troy FDE fixed rear sight and some FDE ERGO rail ladders today, for the Tacticool look.
