I did a rattle can paint job on my BCM carbine. It was my first time doing this. When I figure out how to post pictures, I’ll put them up.

M4: Ordered UID tag from Carolina Laser Works.

C8: Put it into storage until 1. the buttpads (one prime, one spare, and a prime/spare set to set aside for a possible C7 build) arrive from the UK and 2. my local gunsmith tells me he's back open for business to do Gunkote again.

11.5" BCM pistol with MRO. Verified zero at 50, 2" high at 100, 3" low at 200 and held 12" over at 300 on steel(12" round). Funny when going down to paint the steel after finishing a couple other shooters where placing a target at 300 and over heard them saying in a surprised voice "he hit that?" Like it's a big deal, if you saw there 50/100 target, you would understand.

Both of you go to the range and set up some targets. If you score better than your son, he get's the discount. If he outshoots you, he pays an extra 10%! But don't tell him that until it's over.

Decided on pursuing an upgrade for one of my rifles that was a long time coming. Ordered a 13" KAC URX4, SLR GB7 .750, ZeroBravo RHS, Arisaka offset scout mount, and a Botach torque rod.
