Richard, I got the upper assembly this afternoon. All I have to do is get the scope ordered. Should have pics available around Thursday of next week.

Ironically (given the hybrid muzzle device thread), I took my 16" BCM middie to the range to verify/adjust RDS zero after replacing the Mod 0 comp with a YHM phantom flash hider.

I slowly went from being quite happy with the Mod 0 to disliking the amount of side concussion/blast, especially when "coaching" someone firing it.

It also gave me a chance to test the loktite job I did on my light mount. I think I needed to clean surfaces better the first time I mounted it. It's still snug after 180 rounds today.

I ended up ditching the idea of using a 1-4x24 scope on this new build. I opted to use a Vortex SPARC AR that I had on my SIG 516 and ordered a new SIG SAUER ROMEO 5 for the 516. Now, I just need to order a new set of BUISs for this build. Looking to get the MI Combat Rifle Sights. I have them on another build and they are great.

UPDATE: 11/5/19 - I had a change of plans on the BUISs. I acquired a set of MAGPUL MBUS PRO sights for a good price. Now, the build is pretty much complete. I will most likely add a BCM KAG and that is about it.
