I have a blemished BCM upper, it is blemished but I believe is using my firearms so no biggy. Just a mark in the finish, like it rubbed up against something but it was not sharp and did not penetrate the finish.
I removed the buffer retaining spring and pin and installed a JP captured recoil spring assembly. My first use was a 2 gun match.. I know, should have tested it first but I didn't have the time. Anyway it ran great, I mean I couldn't believe how easy the carbine was to shoot follow-ups. Next time I go to the range I'll test for ejection pattern but unless that's totally out of whack it's a winner.

I put a high performance, tactical Scalarworks Aimpoint mount on the house gun.

Today? Nothing except some dry fire.

Yesterday? Moved back to the SL-S stock from an M4 waffle, despite the weight; kept the no-name midlength A2-ish handguard for now despite meaning no flashlight.
Zero’d the MRO on an ADM QD mount (replacing a Geissele) and the PST 1-4x in GG&G QD mount, both on the BCM Kino using IMI 77 gr. Burned through some crappy PPU ammo. Liking the return to zero.
Tried out an MBT-1S at the generosity of a member here. I like it.

Some dry fire. Ordered another K of ammo. And twice as many reloading components.

Shot a couple. Briefly. Went to the range with my uncle to reconfirm zero on my eotech/BCM HD set up and to zero my “poors” rifle. ( PSA FN chf upper/ SW sport lower with Primary Arms Raptor 1-6) unfortunately he asked for my help zeroing his janky polymer bushmaster/no name red dot. That was supposed to be boresighted from the factory.

I only had about 90 minutes to spend before getting my son ready for basketball practice. That bushmaster was hitting about 2 feet left at 25 yards. After about 50 minutes of trying to zero that janky bushy I discovered that the mount was loose. Duh!! I’m an idiot. Proceeded to tighten the mount and get it on paper at least before giving up on getting it too precise.

I ended up with just enough time to do a couple mag dumps with my rifles. I did make sure I could hit the target but that was about it. I love my Unc, but next range trip will be a solo range trip.

Confirmed my sight setting on the Colt A4. Went yesterday to clean up the -6 at 100, up 2 at 50. Hit 300 today (6/3) and connected 38 of 40 on a 12" gong. 55 grain AE (LC) Wanted to get at 200 but I had just finished at 600 and was a wee bit chilled.

Hardest part is seeing the dang target! I just hope the zombies are wearing bright shirts

I lubricated my COLT SOCOM LE 6920 in preparation for range time tomorrow. I installed my MAGLINK from Magpul on two Magpul mags. I have my Aimpoint T-2 ready to zero tomorrow. And I have 500 rounds ready to go. That's all.

I hope that works out better for you than it did for me. I found they basically don't work due to recoil partially ejecting the top cartridge.
