Picked up an 18" Larue Tactical Stealth 2.0 recently. Older version with keymod rail, but it was a leftover from a GSA contract, new, and unfired. Came naked, so it needed to be dressed up some. Surefire brake, (so I can mount the can I'm gonna get one day) BCM VFG, a sling attachment I had laying around, the Primary Arms 1-8, and the Surefire Scout Light off my .308 Aero I traded off, and a new Vickers Blue Force sling. I'll call it good for now. Just need to get her out, and zero it for some of my IMI 77 gr OTM... I do want to get a Daniel Defense grip for it one day, whenever they ain't all sold out... Can't find the ones without the built in trigger guard anywhere right now...

    Technically yesterday...

Switched around some stuff of the 12.5 Kino. Just about full circle now, with carry handle and M4 waffle stock. Really disliked using the QD end plate for my sling, so currently doing the old wrap-around on the stock. Will probably mess around with some paracord or something, unless someone has good QD type option that could go on the “outside.”

Moved some irons and optics between uppers.

(Last week) Added Talon grip to the Reptilia CQG on the MARS-L lower. (This week) Added an Ergo gapper. Undecided if this is an improvement.

Installed a FCD LDFA (serrated) on the CCU upper. That’s the last step in making the rifle truly ambidextrous with the MARS-L. Very happy. Couldn’t bring myself to just grind down the forward assist with as many nice parts as I’d already put on the darn thing.

Made down payment on refinishing the C8's furniture and dropped off the parts.

Assembled a lower, mostly. Not sure where I read it on here but whoever made the suggestion of putting the roll pins in the freezer for a little while before you install, thank you. It's been a while since I boogered up a lower installing roll pins, but this was the easiest yet and super easy to drive in. Would have been nice if I could have remembered to order a castle nut...

I had a 10.5" pistol I built with a KAK GEN. 2 blade....Never cared for it. Awhile back I bought a Tailhook II and so today I pulled the KAK and installed the Tailhook.

The trigger on the gun has also always been kinda Meh, so I swapped some parts around and its much better. Will take to the range tomorrow for function testing....

That is some pretty smart thinking...

I know I have a safety detent soring on my basement floor somewhere, if I start gathering all the other parts now I will probably find it in time to complete the build.
