Sounds sus. Check it for authenticity. I went to Windham Weaponry range and dialed in my pistol's red dot. They did not have the parts I needed in stock, so I ordered them online. LPK and barrel parts for a 11.5" carbine retro clone.

Installed the gas tube on to the gas block for the new barrel I'm putting on my AR. Was a bit more difficult than I thought to hold the tube, block and pin steady while I hammered that roll pin in. I'm sure there's a tool that makes it easier, but...it is what it is now, lol.
Bought a scalarworks mount for a T2 after seeing one for the first time in the noveske sighting thread with the SEALS. Range not open again on a day I can make it until August for installing it and zeroing. Going onto my Troy A4 Other at that point
"Why "zombies"? Because calling it 'training to stop a rioting, starving, panicking, desperate mob after a complete governmental financial collapse apocalypse' is just too wordy." or in light of current events: training to stop a rioting, looting, molotov cocktail throwing, skinny jeans wearing, uneducated bunch of lemmings duped by, or working directly for, a marxist organization attempting to tear down America while hiding behind a race-based name
Most of our indoor ranges here are 25 yards. I train RO and RSO on the side in my region. Several indoor ranges I have access to during the pandemic hysteria, now most are open thankfully. I have access to two 600 yard ranges as part of my state instruction. One is several hour trip. I have family property access with 900 meters, and several outdoor private access some are over 600 yards not ranged. A bunch of private sand pits, are open for use. You should do research and see if you have any local private ranges you might find something closer with free access. Just make sure you know the layout, and pickups everything you bring in that you can, and you'll be able to maintain a good relationship with the owner. We do the once a year thank you, and bake a pie or drop off a deer steak or two, thats the way we do it up here.
Ordered a laser boresighter and some more ladder covers to use on the C8 for matches. Service Rifle rules generally forbid VFG's, and I can't imagine Picatinny Cheesegrater feeling good for my GF on the range or either of us in "post-game" after.

I assembled my latest build as much as I could. All of the mid-length 14.5” barrels I am eyeing for this one are are on back order, it’s now becoming a waiting game. At least I have something to shoot in the meantime.
Added red paint to the spare floorplates for "War Load" magazines. Trying to work out "quick change" parts removals to be able to switch the M4 and C8 from "Combat" to "CMP Toys For Games" configurations with minimal tools and preferably no resighting.
