    Sent a lower for engraving.
Laid out all my upper and lower components sans optics for a build that I’m a little excited about.
Removed offset irons from my GP carbine, added X300U at 1200, DD fixed front, MI combat folding rear. Feels good, something I wanted to try out.

Shot my 16" carbine gas truck/beater after shooting some other rifles at the range. The Mbus rear/FSB is still zeroed at 50 yards plus it feeds, fires, ejects, and locks open on an empty mag. What more could I ask for?

Scored a OD Colt extension and hardware for an OD 11.5" Commando clone build. Ordered spring set from sprinco. Prepared upper and lower for coating.

On my 223 wylde chambered 16 inch gun I took off the bulky permanent sling swivel out at the very end of the handguard and put a Troy Industries pushbutton QD one on. More exciting project tomorrow, when the Sylvan Arms Mag conversion kit gets here for my 16 inch Foxtrotmike gun. Gonna put that on the Anderson lower, then the hard part is putting it back into the safe and letting it sit there until I can make the time to take it out and run it in its new configuration. Nothing drives me nuts more than reconfiguring a gun in some way knowing it'll be awhile before I can run it that way.

Brewed up two sets of safety-equipment retainers from craft-store lanyard clips and dollar-store eyeglass leashes. Each rifle has one running from the muzzle cap through the front sling-loop to the chamber flag, and another joining the Triggersafe cover to my little USB-logbook.

Not for everyday Ready Rack, these are more for matches that require chamber flags and making sure equipment doesn't get lost under time pressure. (My preferred ready-rack condition is Hammer Down Empty Chamber or something like a Hornady Rapid Rack.)

Shot my 18" rifle, then cleaned it. Somewhere during the day, I decided that the "soft reset" of the Larue MBT is a bit overblown.

I also decided that the Rifle Basix trigger in my Ruger M77 MKII blows my MBT and G2S out of the water.

Shooting the 18" AR with my wife reminded me that its kinda nice to have an adjustable stock. The rifle has a Vortex PST 2.5-10x32 scope and the stock allowed my wife and me both to shoot at 10x without fighting eye relief.

I took off the Magpul MOE Carbine Length Handguard that was on a little M&P15 and installed one of there MOE SL Handguards.

Then I painted it to Match my Camo pattern and I stripped the paint off the other one. I am gonna give that to my buddy for his little M&P15 that has the standard looking Handguard. I also believe I have a M-Lock Scout Light mount I need to dig up for him also.

Switched out my old Geisselle Mk2 rail for a BCM quad rail. I wanted a new rail because of the attachment method on the G rail being old and very outdated. I was originally going to get the Mlok BCM rail but the tan quad rail has that Block II look to it so I went with it.

No dude is going to get shot in the chest at 300 yards and look down and say "What is that, a 3 MOA group?"

Sweet gat. You made the right choice. Have you posted your thoughts on the MRO somewhere?

Did you gain a good amount of weight? I am debating on the fore-end for my new clone: its modern so I can go in a number of directions. I was considering the federal rail but have no decided. I have a Colt skinny for it already. Was going for M4 Commando Enhanced.
