I installed a Geissele SDC & their maritime bolt catch. Both are excellent!
Just came back from a rainy range trip. Worked grouping at 200y and kneeling/standing groups at 50y. A coworker was asking how the range was going, sent him that shot of 3 x 5rd groups at 200y with 62gr Fusion MSR. Somewhere around 2.5" in spread if I had to take a shot at guessing.
Today breaks 1,000 rds with the Razor 1-6. I love it, and I regret not jumping to one sooner.
Swapped three Super 42 springs in place of three JP-SCS springs, re-installed the buffer retaining pins, and replaced an SD-E with an SD3G. Looking forward to trying out the Super 42s, they feel much stronger than the JP-SCS just hand-cycling.

Penciling out some things, watching for sales and waiting for prices and cash flows to meet.
And wishing Marty at Shockwave would come out with a mag carrier that fits his Blade the way SB's SB-MAG20 neatly fits with their braces... as you might have noticed I'm a real big fan of having spare mags right on the gun so there's nothing to leave behind and less reaching to grab 'em, and it looks like with the Blade as a "center beam" it could fit two carriers to the SB braces' one.

New barrel came in, I wasn't planning on building another AR but since BCA was giving away 5000 free barrels to Veterans I didn't have a choice.

Not an AR but wants to be. Installed the Hiperfire 24C in my M&P 15-22. Lightest pull is rated at 2.5lbs. Using the average function on my Lyman digital gauge I got 1lb 6oz on a group of 5 shots. Another 5 rounds averaged (using a pencil) just a tic above 1 1/2lbs using a Timney mechanical gauge. I like the flat trigger and did not install the optional shoe. The gauged tests were conducted live-fire with weapon secured in lead sled. Ten rounds were gauged, 15 rounds were slow, 25 rounds were as quickly as I could pull the trigger.
No takeup and didn't notice reset. Smooth and quick. Those "toggle" springs are interesting. When testing it in my vice, manually pulling the hammer back each time was a chore as compared to conventional assemblies. Here's a pic of the toggle springs for those unfamiliar with them:
I have 3 aftermarket triggers:
Rise Armament RA-140 single stage (3.5lbs) Mine is closer to 3 in 16" AR
Timney single stage Competition (3.0lbs) Mine is about 2.6-2.8 in a 20" AR
Hiperfire / Hipertouch 24C single stage with above specs.
RA is fine with no complaints.
Timney is finer and funner. Great trigger for my scoped, longer distance 20" AR. Provides quicker repetitive POA.
Hiperfire is too much fun in that little .22lr. Though I understand the argument against a light trigger for "tight" (home, etc) defense, I have no problem with this in a defensive weapon. I'll likely be getting another if long term use remains positive.
