Hello Robert,
It's the 1-6 SFP Gen 3. They had not started calling them the Silver Series when I bought it.
Believe it's this one here:
https://www.primaryarms.com/primary-...45-308-reticle
It is the first LPVO that I've ever owned so I can't really compare it to anything else (only other optic is an Aimpiont PRO). I have only shot a few hundred rounds with it so it's still pretty new for me.
With my limited the things I have noticed are:
1. Can't see the illumination in bright sunlight.
2. No auto shut off, while remounting after painting my rifle I noticed the battery was dead. I must have left if on by accident. Not too big of a deal as there us a spare in the right side cap.
3. My first BDC type reticle, learning it's not as simple as I thought.
4. The reticle itself seems busy, but I've only ever shot with a red dot, think I will get used to this and learn to ignore the other stuff till I need it.
5. It's not true 1X but it's pretty close.
If you (or anyone else) need/want any info or pics I will do my best to help out.

Vandal,
Thank you for a down and dirty assessment. I have thought the ACSS reticle was a bit on the busy side myself, but I too am used to pretty clean reticle, (EOTech, Aimpoint) and even my LPVO’s (Burris XTR II aren’t that busy, Ur on the other hand I’ve heard really good things about it, so I’d probably give it a shot.
If you don’t mind, I’d like some pics of it. Does it seem to be. Pretty sturdy scope? One thing I love about that XTR II is that it’s built like a tank (and it shows I. The weight). It is rather have something that can take some abuse than not.
Some pics would be great but only when it’s convenient for you. Thanks again!!

Not a problem, I learn a lot from reading your (and others) posts. If I could help out I'm happy to.
I know I took some when I first got it, if I was smart I weighed it before mounting it. I'll dig up what I have and post them, if you want to see anything else just let me know.
I'll be sure to quote or pm you once I post them so you know when they are up.

Ordinarily I avoid the range between about 5pm and 7pm in the summer because that time of day the sun is shining right in your face. Today though I deliberately went around 6pm so I'd have to contend with the visibility issues. Took two guns, one irons-only and one with an Aimpoint, and ran a couple mags through each at various distances. For targets I just stapled up a half dozen sheets of 8.5x11 paper and was basically just going for hits vs small groups. At the 100yd line, with the sun in my face the Aimpoint was surprisingly little help. It was just hard to see no matter which gun I was shooting.
Yep, I'm still using Keymod. I actually like the BCM PKMRs quite a bit for drop-in handguards.
Mounted KAC stubby vfg -- bought from someone on another forum. Installed sling mount. Filed/sanded RAS panel to fit -- idea stolen from someone on the forum. I'll get the light mounted eventually.
Shooter like Kukoč
I'm getting rid of all the bikinis on my T-1 equipped rifles, because my TangoDown covers arrived today!
