I have thought the ACSS reticle was a bit on the busy side myself, but I too am used to pretty clean reticle, (EOTech, Aimpoint) and even my LPVO’s (Burris XTR II aren’t that busy, Ur on the other hand I’ve heard really good things about it, so I’d probably give it a shot.

If you don’t mind, I’d like some pics of it. Does it seem to be. Pretty sturdy scope? One thing I love about that XTR II is that it’s built like a tank (and it shows I. The weight). It is rather have something that can take some abuse than not.

Some pics would be great but only when it’s convenient for you. Thanks again!!

    Hey Robert,

I was hoping to go to the range today to gets some new pics looking at some distances but need to do some work on my car today. I took a bunch yesterday and this morning. Shows looking down the river in my backyard at 1,3 and 6x. Bunch of different angles and removed all the caps to show the elevation, windage adjustments as well as in the battery compartment. Even put it on our scale and got the weight w/ and w/o the AP SPR mount.

Hope he's okay with it. Added to Mrgunsngear's review of the same optic.

Next time I get to the range I'll see if I can get some pics looking out to the gong that's at 650 yards or so.

Took a guy with almost no firearms experience out to shoot LE6920. He liked it.

Removed the Daniel Defense receiver extension from my lower in order to install an A5 equivalent. The castle nut spun off without much effort. The staking didn't have any engagement with the castle nut. I didn't notice it before but the DD castle nut is different than mil-spec. The grooves are much shallower. Kind of disappointing, but I'm going to make sure to stake the new receiver extension properly.

Thanks bro. I really appreciate it. I check out the pics and actually caught up on the thread, sorta anyway. But I really appreciate you taking time to post up all those pics. Couple of questions.

    1. How are the turrets? Positive clicks or easy to move 5 when you wanted to move one?

    2. I can’t recall but do they make this scope in mil/mil?

Thanks Vandal, you’re a good guy.

Not a problem, I always learn a lot and enjoy your and others posts here. Glad I can help out.

The turrets on my scope definitely have a positive feel to each click and I can audibly hear it too (and my hearing isn't the best) also the inlay for each turret can be spun to indicate when you have found your zero. I think I read that you can then press them down to set them but I am not 100% on that. Maybe someone else can confirm or call BS on that one. I have not tried to set it yet as I am still unsure what ammo I will be going with for the long term.

As for using Mils (sorry, I've heard of it bounced don't fully understand the difference) how about this one?

    https://www.primaryarms.com/primary-...aliber-reticle

If you scroll through their pics it shows the reticle and references to Mils.

Thought about shooting it but decided by the time I could make it out, 110*F was not going to work for me.

M4: Surefire XM07 tape-switch/tailcap kit mated to G2 light and SM-CK mount. Now the light's just waiting for the rifle to be built above it... or for a BCM tri-rail or my "backup plan" to turn up so the C8 can be an interim host.

They have the ACSS Griffin which had s 5x5 mil matrix. PA is having a decent sale on a decent amount of there blems right now.

    https://www.primaryarms.com/SaleName...s-Optics-Blems

They are also releasing their Gold series later this year I believe which should compete with the xtr 2 and vortex viper 2 level glass at a better price point

Another company that is newer but getting dinner good feedback on TOS is Swampfox Optics. They are an oem for a larger Optics company according to their marketing manager Mike. He was PA's former guy and is pretty honest about things. Their scopes should compare to the PA silver series at a better price point (especially when they have sales).

No sense only sharing the good, eh?

Actually yesterday, not today, but I went to the range and shot like shit with all three ARs that I brought - two iron sighted guns a d one with a PA 2.5x scope.

Technically, several of my iron sight groups were actually pretty okay - 2.25 - 2.5" @ 100yds with XM193, but I was putting almost everything slightly high for some reason.
Really hot and high humidity outside and I was pretty uncomfortable the whole time, but that reeks of excuses. Just had an off day I guess.
