Good thing I had my fixed irons as my red dot failed during a 2 round string but the line was called cold just as I was going to transition. Glad I heard the RSO through my headset with mic with nobody to talk to otherwise I would've been busted doing a draw. I was going to check zero on the irons but I only had one mag left, figure. I can do that another day when I can get on the 100m range.
Sounds like we both had problems.
I'm trying to vet magazines and a rifle for EDC reliability. I thought I was just about done but the rifle started to mysteriously key-hole just 782 rounds short of the 20,000 it takes to certify my serious use rifles.
Thank goodness I have a Colt 6920 standing by to start the process tomorrow. I'll start out at about 6:00 by throwing it out in the front yard and running over it a couple times before heading out to Keesler AFB to hitch a ride on a 53rd Weather Reconnaissance Squadron (WSR) WC-130J for a HALO jump into the middle of Tropical Cyclone Hermine out in the Gulf. After I make landfall, I'll make my way to the Hornady Factory in Grand Island, NE, where I've arraqnged for them to divert production to support my serious use carbine kickoff (SUCK).
Really glad I won the lottery.
Patriotism means to stand by the country. It does not mean to stand by the President... - Theodore Roosevelt, Lincoln and Free Speech, Metropolitan Magazine, Volume 47, Number 6, May 1918.
