I've got 10 USGI mags with MagPul anti-tilt followers and 2 of the HK high reliability mags. Honestly, the HKs aren't worth $60 compared to the USGI's...which I got at a recent gun show for $10 each.

Pointy sticks killed just fine, still do, and they weren't "broke". But a pointy stick with a steel tip was better, so we evolved our weaponry, and so it goes...

Nothing wrong with USGI mags, but PMAGs are better.

Have you tried Pmags? I have to guess that the answer is no.

I'm fine with USGI mags to. But after my first Pmag, I found myself buying mags I didn't even NEED... they're that good.

You're going to love the Pmag. I'm a NO NONSENSE shooter... to the bone.

Believe me... If even I can get on board for an aftermarket item.... it has to be good.

I still use VN era Contract mags. They work great, and are proven.

If you are worried about a ban and want to be sure your mags will work 25 years from now when they cannot be replaced, then go with the contract mags such as the D&H from BCM.
