    Agreed.

I buy Pmags for shooting, and out of curiosity, but my put away mags are all BCM now. I love that you can get them with the Magpul followers already in them now.

I just got back from one of my local gun stores and brought home with me my first PMAG,looks and feels good to me,the shop owner is an ex-army ranger and seems to know his chit, told me these are the best mags out there,Of course I was not going to question his word.Paided $20.00 plus tax,I like to support my local shops as much as possible, but I think I can get better pricing(including shipping)online.I hope to take it out and test fire it later this weekend,Thanks for the info here in this thread from you guys!

the pmags just make things a lot smoother. the way the bolt picks up the ammo from the pmag is very smooth.

Indeed. The cartridges can't approach the feedramps as low as they do out of a USGI mag.

Dude, dont take this as a specific slag - but how many rounds do you shoot a year?

Maybe 50,000 or so not counting 22LR since ammo prices went up so much. Most ever in one day so far this year was 5,000.

    ETA:

Just dumped 600 from my Glock 18C since post above.

Because USGI mags are shit and I will put the entire contents of my bank account behind PMAG's against USGI disposable mags any day of the week. USGI= originally designed to be disposable. PMAG= No need for aluminum again for 99.9% of the end users.

Well I see Columbus area businesses are still charging a premium for stuff. PMAG's can be had online in many places for about 14.50 or so a piece. I am all about supporting local until they start sticking it in my rectal cavity.
