Hornady shows data for 3031 in .223 https://www.hornady.com/support/load-data/
It should be a decent. 223/5.56 powder, although I have only used it for 30-30 and 45-70.
Yeah, I did have decent luck with it in some ladder loads and then moved and am just catching up now.
Here’s my best group from the ladder loads in .5gr increments
Dragging this one up again... ran out of 3031. CFE223 meters nicely in the 550, here’s the best I got at 100 yards:
27gr under the the 62 gr BTHP
Mixed .223 brass, sized in small base x-die, trimmed to 1.745” CCI #400
Seated 2.235”
Shot these and 55gr out of the MK12 1/7 WOA 18”
