Have you guys seen these? Are they the same bullet, it says Hornady. They are a little more than the .10 cents each back when this thread started but almost 4 years later there still around .12cents and RMR has Free or very cheap shipping.

The bullets you linked are fmj 62gr. Not the same as the hpbt 62gr. The fmj 62gr is about as good as a Winchester fmj. The hpbt can be very accurate.

Ah,, yup,, thanks for the clarity! That's what I get for trying to think @ 1:30 in the morning, LOL! I will say keep your eyes peeled @ RMR, last week he had some 69Grn Match Bullets made in-house that they were talking about & were pretty proud of. I don't see them In Stock now cuz they sell out pretty fast. They could be worth watching & waiting for, they were priced pretty decently also.

I looked and midsouth does not seem to be selling them anymore, or am I missing something?

I wish they would, my stash is getting low.

Has anyone contacted Hornady to see if they supply these elsewhere?

I still have a bunch of these. When the RMR 69s came out, we piled those up and left the 62s on the shelf. The 62s are a more accurate bullet, and I'll get back to them one of these days.

They tend to sell them sporadically. My guess, based on what happened after Sandy Hook, Hornady is trying to catch up on a backlog and will release them again when that happens.

Ditto. The BC on the RMR is better but the 62 is really accurate for the money.

Try the 68 grain w/cannelure (2278C) and not the one without (#2278, 22785, 2278B). You can find them all over as bulk purchase.

    Like here:

The reason for #2278C vc the non-cannelured ones as they are completely different bullets. One is .917" OAL (2278C) and the other is 981" OAL (2278,22785, 2278B). The shorter one works well in 1-8 or 1-9 twists, the other does not play as well. And it's length is closer to the 62 grain HPBT which was an OAL .862"
